Undergraduate Research Assistant Opportunities
The lab seeks talented, motivated undergraduate students who want to take part in lab activities. Opportunities include summer scholarships, independent study projects, honors theses and many others (visit Penn's Office for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships for a full guide to undergraduate research options). In the past, the lab has hosted award-winning undergraduate student research that has later appeared in scientific journals. Undergraduates associated with the lab have gone on to graduate programs at institutions including the University of Florida, New York University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Maryland, Duke University, UC Santa Barbara, Northwestern University and the University of Arizona, as well as research assistantships at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, and other labs at the University of Pennsylvania.
