Early Learning Center
The Language & Cognition lab has partnered with the University of Delaware's Early Learning Center for over 10 years to conduct research with young children. The ELC supports children and their families by providing a high quality, nationally accredited program of early care and education; supports academic and research programs of the University as a site for observation, practicum and research students and faculty; and actively participates in state and national initiatives to advance the field of early care and education.
Delaware Children's Museum
The Language & Cognition lab started a new collaboration with the Delaware Children's Museum in 2016. The DCM aims to provide children and their families from diverse backgrounds with a comfortable, accessible, fun and stimulating environment where they enjoy spending time together, develop innovative ways to help children learn through play and to complement the learning that takes place at home and at school, and present content across multiple disciplines in a way that invites exploration, encourages learning and creates connections between visitors and the world.
